Information for Distributors

The Mishneh Torah of the Rambam is a fundamental work in Jewish observance which we want to be accessible for anyone wishing to learn it. To the newly observant, it can be difficult to navigate and understand, and the halachos are intricate making it hard to see the full picture.

The new “Studying Rambam” series is designed to be used as a companion while learning the Mishneh Torah. It contains the full Hebrew text of the Mishneh Torah, as well as definitions, lists, tables, summaries, explanations and references designed to enhance and deepen the reader’s understanding of the text.

Who is it for

It was initially targeted to beginners as a gateway for them to access the Mishneh Torah, but we’ve found that people who are already familiar with it are also loving the series, as it gives them a much deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the entire works.

There are several books in the series:

The Comprehensive Summary consists of eight books. This contains the full text of the Rambam as well as detailed explanations, references, summaries, lists, tables and definitions designed to enhance and deepen the reader’s understanding of the text.

There are three further volumes available (with more on the way):

The Concise Summary is a very shortened version of the 1000 chapters in the Mishneh Torah, enabling the reader to see the flow, framework, logic behind the works.

Key Facts Summary looks at the 83 sets of halachos and hones in on the essence of the set. It’s more of a philosophical outlook, using the words of the Rambam in a simplified manner to give readers a good sense of the chapter and the whole of the Mishneh Torah.

The Index volume, comprises more than 8,000 terms, arranged alphabetically in English and transliterated English.
